Olympéa debuted in 2015 as Paco Rabanne's flagship women's fragrance, conceived as the female pendant to the men's Invictus and sharing its Greco-Roman, sculpted-bottle aesthetic. It was composed by Loc Dong, Anne Flipo and Dominique Ropion around an innovative salted-vanilla accord paired with green water-jasmine, ginger lily and ambergris, which became its defining and widely imitated signature. The campaign cast it as a modern goddess fragrance and it rapidly became one of the brand's best-selling women's launches worldwide. Its success generated numerous flankers including Olympéa Intense, Aqua, Legend, Blossom and Solar, building a full sub-line. The salt-plus-vanilla idea proved influential, appearing in many later mainstream and budget compositions.
A creamy salted-vanilla amber softened by airy green white florals, designed as the feminine counterpart to Invictus and sharing its golden laurel-wreath bottle. The signature salt-and-vanilla accord reads warm and skin-like, making it an easy crowd-pleaser that performs strongly in cooler months.
