Tobacco Vanille launched in 2007 in Tom Ford's inaugural Private Blend collection and was composed by IFF perfumer Olivier Gillotin. Tom Ford described it as an opulent, autumnal tribute to old English gentlemen's clubs, blending tobacco leaf and blossom with creamy tonka, vanilla, cocoa, and dried fruits. It quickly became one of the most acclaimed and best-selling fragrances in the Private Blend range and a defining example of the cozy spiced-gourmand genre. Its enormous popularity has made it one of the most cloned scents on the market, spawning countless affordable imitations. It remains a benchmark for winter tobacco-vanilla fragrances over fifteen years after release.
A rich, warm gentleman's-club blend of sweet pipe tobacco, creamy vanilla, dried fruit, and spice that feels like a cozy fireside in a bottle. A genuine modern classic and one of the most copied scents in the world.
