Released in 2025, Invictus Victory Absolu Parfum Intense is the darkest and most resinous entry in the Invictus Victory sub-line to date. Created by Anne Flipo and Caroline Dumur — Flipo once again bridging continuity across the Invictus dynasty — the fragrance strips the composition down to its most elemental: a single black pepper top note that drives directly into amber and ambergris, then settles on sandalwood, frankincense, and patchouli. Rabanne's brand description frames it as inspired by 'the clash of fresh waves on warm volcanic rock,' a geological, primal register distinctly different from the Victory EDP's sweeter character. The bottle continues the angular, deep-coloured Invictus Victory family design language. Absolu, as a concentration label, signals Parfum Intense weight — big projection and long wear. The release follows the broader 2020s industry trend of Parfum Intense upgrades to established masculine lines, driven by Middle Eastern market demand and a general consumer appetite for longer-lasting, more impactful fragrances.
A dark, volcanic flanker of Invictus Victory — black pepper ignites over ambered sandalwood, frankincense, and patchouli.
