Invictus Elixir, released in 2026, represents the most intensified and nocturnal expression the line has yet produced. Created by Alexandra Carlin, Anne Flipo, and Caroline Dumur — with Flipo anchoring continuity with the original 2013 trio — it takes the line's familiar aquatic-woody DNA and subjects it to a dramatic transformation. The opening introduces mineral salts and grapefruit in an abstracted, almost geological register, quite unlike the breezy marine of the original EDT. Cypress and coconut form a cool, resinous heart over lavender, while the base resolves into vanilla caviar, cedar, moss, and benzoin — a warm, almost lacquered foundation. The effect is of Invictus stripped of its sporty accessibility and recast as an evening statement piece. As Rabanne's flagship lines have matured and expanded upward into higher concentrations, Elixir iterations have become the house's way of signalling premium intent within its most commercially established pillars.
A bold, mineral-woody evolution of Invictus — salted grapefruit and cypress deepen into vanilla caviar and benzoin.
