The story

Boss Bottled launched in 1998 as Hugo Boss's flagship masculine, composed by Annick Menardo around a signature apple, cinnamon and warm-woods accord that became one of the defining mainstream fragrances of its era. The original EDT sold in massive volume and spawned a large flanker family including Night, Intense, Sport, Tonic, Infinite and Parfum. This Eau de Parfum concentration arrived in 2020 as a deeper, spicier interpretation, amplifying the cinnamon-clove heart and adding more amber and vanilla warmth to the base while shifting the opening toward cardamom and lavender. It keeps the recognizable Boss Bottled silhouette while moving the seasonal sweet spot toward fall and winter. The line as a whole remains a top-selling designer pillar at airports and department stores worldwide.

Our take

A richer, longer-lasting interpretation of the iconic Boss Bottled DNA, leaning harder into warm cinnamon, clove and sweet woods. Where the original EDT is built on apple and cinnamon, this EDP opens spicier with cardamom and lavender over bergamot, then settles into a cinnamon-clove heart and an amber-vanilla-sandalwood base. It is the cozy, dependable office-to-dinner scent your dad probably wore, modernized and deepened for cooler weather.
