The Miss Dior name dates to 1947, when Christian Dior launched his first fragrance alongside his debut couture collection, but the modern fruity-floral 'Miss Dior' bears little resemblance to that original chypre. Over the years Dior repositioned and relaunched the name several times, with in-house perfumer Francois Demachy taking over the line. The 2021 Eau de Parfum is the current flagship version, built around a thousand-flower bouquet concept led by Grasse rose and centifolia, with peony and a clean musky drydown. It is anchored by Natalie Portman's long-running campaign as the face of Miss Dior. The fragrance sits as one of Dior's core women's pillars alongside J'adore, with companion flankers like Blooming Bouquet and Absolutely Blooming.
A bright, romantic rose-and-peony floral with a clean modern lift, more fresh and youthful than vintage Miss Dior. The 2021 reformulation by Francois Demachy centers a luminous rose over a soft musky base, easy to wear from day to date night.
