Dylan Blue launched in 2016, created by Alberto Morillas as part of the Versace 'Pour Homme' family and named in a campaign that nodded to a Mediterranean, sun-and-sea aesthetic. Morillas built it around a bright bergamot-grapefruit-fig top flowing into patchouly, papyrus, ambroxan and a soft incense-musk base, giving it a fresher and more daytime-friendly character than the sweeter Eros. It became a strong seller and a frequent office-appropriate alternative to its louder sibling. The line later expanded with a women's Dylan Blue Pour Femme and the warmer Dylan Purple. It is commonly recommended as a versatile year-round designer fresh that punches above its price.
A fresh aromatic-woody with a fig-and-bergamot opening over a patchouli-ambroxan-papyrus base, a more wearable and slightly more refined counterpart to Eros. Versatile and crowd-friendly, if not particularly groundbreaking within the popular blue genre.
