Terms of service

By using MySecretCart you agree to these terms. They're written to be readable. If something's unclear, email us.

The deal

You can use MySecretCart for free. We earn from retailer commissions (see the affiliate disclosure). We don't show ads. We don't sell your data.

Your account

• You're responsible for keeping your password safe.
• You're responsible for what gets saved to your account. Don't save things that are illegal, fraudulent, or for resale.
• One human, one account. Don't impersonate someone else.
• Minimum age: 13. If you're under 18, you need a parent's permission.

Content you save

The products you save and the notes you write belong to you. By making something Public, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display it on the relevant public URL. We never repurpose your private wishlists.

Things you can't do

• Scrape, mass-download, or copy product data we license from retailers.
• Use the app to harass another user.
• Try to break, exploit, or reverse-engineer the security model.
• Use the app for fraudulent purchases or chargeback schemes.

The affiliate part

When you click a "Buy at retailer" link, you leave MySecretCart and the retailer's own terms take over. We're not the seller. If a retailer ships you a broken item, sells you the wrong color, or doesn't honor a return, you deal with the retailer directly. We'll help you contact them, but we can't substitute for their support.

Service availability

We try hard to keep MySecretCart running. We can't guarantee 100% uptime. We may add, change, or remove features at any time. Major changes will be announced at least 30 days in advance.

Liability

MySecretCart is provided "as is." We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is capped at $100 or what you've paid us in the last 12 months, whichever is greater.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA. Disputes are resolved by binding arbitration in the United States, except where local law requires otherwise.

Termination

You can delete your account anytime. We can terminate an account that violates these terms, after a written notice. If you're banned for fraud or harassment, no notice is required.
