YSL released Mon Paris in 2016 as a love-letter-to-Paris feminine fragrance, themed around a passionate romance and a sense of escape. It was a collaborative composition involving several Firmenich and IFF perfumers including Harry Fremont, Olivier Cresp, Dora Baghriche and Anne Flipo. The scent paired bright red fruits with white florals and a patchouli-musk base, landing as a modern, sweetened fruity-floral with a patchouli backbone. It became a strong seller for the house and launched a sizable flanker family including Mon Paris Intensément, Couture and Floral. The fragrance is often compared to other sweet feminine blockbusters of the mid-2010s such as La Vie Est Belle.
A sweet, fruity-floral built on red berries and white florals over a patchouli-musk base. Romantic, youthful and very approachable, it pairs juicy strawberry and raspberry with a datura-led white-floral heart, then settles into a clean, slightly chypre-adjacent patchouli-and-musk drydown.
